Be sure to select waitlists for 4 parkades (the maximum allowed) to maximize your chances of receiving a permit offer. *Commuting Graduate students do not need to join the waitlist, as permits will be available for purchase in mid-August. UBC Resident Students: May purchase a parking permit by entering a waitlist using their Parking Account. Waitlist offers are sent weekly via email when available. See map. Make sure to include Fairview Underground or Thunderbird Parakde in your waitlist selection to increase your chances of receiving an offer. All other locations are currently sold out. *When offered a permit, you may select a start date up to 2 months in advance. If you need parking more than 2 months from now, please enter the waitlist closer to your desired date. Parking System Maintenance and Parking Office Closures During the following maintenance periods, parking permit sales and citation payments will be unavailable: Friday, September 11, 2026 from 5:00 am to 5:00 pm Thursday, September 17, 2026 from 9:00 am to 11:00 am (Parking Services Desk will open at 11:00 am) Friday, September 18, 2026 from 12:00 am to 4:00 am Please plan accordingly and complete any necessary transactions outside of these maintenance periods.
