Fit and Fun with Suvretta House Go on an impressive bike tour on beautiful trails, embark on a canyoning adventure with sliding, jumping, abseiling, swimming and wading. Or perhaps you fancy a sailing trip on Lake Sils. ‘Fit and Fun with Suvretta House’ is the name of our special summer event programme, which combines sport, relaxation and fun in equal measure. And all this in a unique world of adventure with meadows and forests, torrents and lakes, rock faces and glaciers. No special knowledge or experience in certain sports is required. All you need is the desire to experience something. Golfing in an Alpine paradise There are three golf courses in the vicinity of Suvretta House. Each one is special in its own way and awaits you with unique challenges. What they share is their location in the midst of an unusual landscape of mountains and lakes. Take advantage of our practice course and the hotel’s driving range to prepare for the real thing, or use the greens in the hotel park to refine your pitches and putts. Would you like to get started? Simply book the beginners’ course or the basic course at the Suvretta Golf School. Additionally, our golf pro is available for private tuition for adults and children. A peerless backdrop for tennis Although you will only have your eyes on the ball during the game, tennis in front of the panoramic mountain peaks is a unique experience. Three well-maintained clay courts await you in front of Suvretta House for exciting games. You can practise your backhands and forehands on the ball throwing machine, and if you want to improve your skills, take a few lessons with our pro. Boundless wanderlust The hiking options in the Upper Engadin are endlessly varied. The spectrum ranges from walks across mountain meadows and through spruce forests to easy panoramic hikes and challenging mountain tours. Venture to the summits of the famous three-thousand metre peaks of Piz Nair, Corvatsch or Diavolezza and see the world from above. The famous panoramic mountains such as Corviglia and Muottas Muragl are also well worth a visit. A very practical feature: in summer, travel on the Upper Engadin mountain railways and public transport is included in the room price for stays of two nights or more. In addition, not far from St. Moritz, one of the most beautiful nature reserves in Europe, the Swiss National Park, is waiting to be discovered by you. Very special experiences include guided hikes over glaciers or guided tours into the world of chamois and ibex. Mountain Biking With 400 kilometres of mountain bike routes, the Engadin is one of THE mountain bike destinations in the Alps and offers pure inspiration for active adventures with its incomparable landscape. The fabulously flowing single trails and marked routes criss-cross the dreamy mountain scenery and lead up to spectacular heights. Saddle-happy guests at Suvretta House benefit from a selection of high-quality bikes, which are available free of charge for discovering the most beautiful ascents, most attractive trails and most spectacular panoramas. From full-suspension mountain bikes to robust downhill bikes, from fat bikes equipped with extra-wide tyres to comfortable e-bikes - nothing stands in the way of pure riding pleasure for all needs. Suvretta Picnic In the middle of the Upper Engadine countryside, a Suvretta chef has prepared a wonderfully fragrant risotto in a ‘Kupferchessi’ on the open fireplace. Our guests can also look forward to exquisite grilled dishes and a wide selection of drinks. Welcome to the weekly Suvretta picnic! Every Wednesday during the summer season, you are cordially invited to take a seat in an idyllic location and enjoy this special occasion.
