It also acts as the (rotating) secretariat of the Jiao Tong University Alumni Association, and the Vice President Organization of the Alumni Research Society of the University. Its main responsibilities are as follows: 1. Formulate and implement development plans, regulations, and policies related to alumni affairs, and improve the top-level framework for this work. 2. Under the leadership of the university, fulfill the responsibilities of the XJTU Alumni Association, guide and regulate the activities of all alumni organizations, and, on behalf of the university, engage in the work of the XJTU Alumni Association. 3. Regularly liaise with alumni and provide on-campus services related to alumni affairs. 4. Engage with alumni by actively promoting the university's achievements in development and reform, carrying forward the Westward Relocation Spirit and promoting alumni culture. 5. Build bridges and ties to enhance exchanges and cooperation between alumni and their alma mater, achieving mutual development and making greater contributions to national development and social progress.
