Brain and mind H2 The Brain and Mind Centre brings patients, support groups and carers together with scientists and clinicians to research mental health and neurological diseases, from depression to Parkinson's. Chronic diseases H2 The Charles Perkins Centre tackles some of the greatest health challenges humanity has ever faced: obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases and related conditions through innovative research. Environment H2 The Sydney Environment Institute features research from a wide range of social science and humanities disciplines to explore how we identify, live, and adapt to climate change. Nanotechnology H2 The University of Sydney Nano Institute is taking the field of nanoscience to new levels, with technologies in biosecurity, green energy, and medicine. The next giant leap is seriously small. Net zero H2 The Sydney Net Zero Institute supports practical decarbonisation solutions to help the world meet its climate change goal of net zero carbon emissions by 2050. Policy H2 The Sydney Policy Lab builds collaborations for lasting policy change – to strengthen democracy, reduce inequality and empower communities. Southeast Asia H2 The Sydney Southeast Asia Centre comprises 400+ academics working on economic and social reform in Southeast Asia, infectious diseases and the environment.
