Main content start Events Campus Weather Stanford, CA, USA Visitor Center tours and programs for prospective undergraduates The Stanford Visitor Center is generally open from Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (with the exception of most federal holidays and some breaks between quarters) to provide information about visiting campus. The Office of Undergraduate Admission offers a variety of tours and programs, both virtually and in person, for prospective undergraduate students and their supporters. Live virtual offerings are available on a semi-weekly basis during most times of the year. Tours for organized groups (10 or more people) are provided seasonally to qualifying organizations based upon the availability of student tour guides. Registration for 2025-2026 tours and programs Guided tours are offered multiple times most weekdays and on selected Saturdays during the spring and the fall academic quarters. Admission information sessions and discussion panels ("Student Forum" and "Parents/Supporters Q&A") are offered multiple times per week. Visitors who register online for a general campus visit (self-guided tour) will be given priority when on campus for any additional spaces on guided tours that are available due to no-shows, cancellations, or increased staffing. Summer Quarter 2026: Tours and programs will be offered weekdays from Wednesday, June 17 through Friday, August 28 (other than Friday, July 3 and Thursday, August 13). All other dates are currently posted for online registration. Summer/Fall Interim: No tours or programs will be scheduled during the Summer/Fall Interim period from Saturday, August 29 through Thursday, September 17 (which includes Labor Day Weekend). The public is welcome to visit the campus on their own during this period. Fall Quarter: Tours and programs for Fall Quarter will be offered on most weekdays and selected Saturdays beginning on Friday, September 18. Online registration for Fall Quarter programs will be available in August. Information for groups/organizations requesting a tour Group Tours for Winter 2026 are offered to qualifying groups/organizations (usually from 10 to 50 participants) on weekdays from January 20 through March 13 (with exceptions on certain dates). Scheduling for Spring Quarter will begin on Monday, February 9 for tours provided from April 13 through May 29. Offerings for Group Tours in summer will resume in July. Requests must be submitted at this point via email to: [email protected] . Approved organizations: The Office of Undergraduate Admission seasonally offers guided tours by appointment for prospective undergraduate student groups of 10 or more people (up to 50 max) from the following categories: High schools Community colleges Not-for-profit/community based organizations focused on access or exposure to college Other groups: Middle schools, grade schools, and other qualifying organizations may request approval to visit and park on campus, and can be provided with resources to enjoy a self-guided visit with age appropriate sites, resources, and activities, but we are sorry to say that we are no longer providing staffing for guided tours for these age levels. Please note that we will not grant requests for group visits through commercial or third-party tour operators.
