To be eligible, new hosts must: publish an experience, service, or ‘entire home’ listing as a ‘listing owner’ for the first time; complete the new experience, service, or home listing’s first booking within 180 days from the time the new host clicks ‘create your experience’, ‘create your service’, or ‘create a listing’ using the referral link, or messages a co-host using a Co-Host Network referral link; and ensure the first booking is worth at least $50 USD for experiences and services, and $100 USD for homes (or the equivalent in local currency). For experiences and services, this value is before taxes and fees (including Airbnb fees). For homes, this value includes pet fees and extra guest fees, and is calculated before taxes or other fees (including Airbnb fees) Listings that are ineligible include 1) private, shared, and hotel room listings, unless otherwise specified, 2) homes, experiences, and services that have been deactivated and republished, and 3) API-connected listings, unless otherwise specified. Reward amounts are in a range determined at the time the Referred Host creates their listing using the referral link and will remain valid for the duration of the period outlined on the referral pages. Amounts vary by listing location. Payout in USD or equivalent in local currency will be made within 30 days of completion of the Referred Host’s Qualifying Booking. Upon expiration of the period outlined on the referral pages, the offer shall immediately expire. Check the referral pages for offer expiration dates. Check Host Referral Program Terms below. For Referred Members By creating your listing via your referrer’s referral link or messaging a referring co-host on the Co-Host Network, you understand that information about your referral and listing will be shared with your referrer, such as whether you have accepted the referral by clicking “Create your listing”, started or published your listing, completed listing verification, and booked or hosted your first reservation. The referrer can also find whether your first booking is eligible for a reward. If you don’t want to share this information with your referrer, you can create your home listing, experience listing, or service listing directly, instead. Host Referral Program Terms PLEASE NOTE THAT THE AIRBNB TERMS OF SERVICE, PAYMENTS TERMS OF SERVICE, AND PRIVACY POLICY YOU AGREED TO APPLY TO YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE HOST REFERRAL PROGRAM AND YOUR USE OF THE HOST REFERRAL DASHBOARD AND OTHER TOOLS AND WEBSITES PROVIDED BY AIRBNB. THESE PROGRAM TERMS AND CONDITIONS (“TERMS”) SUPPLEMENT THE AIRBNB TERMS OF SERVICE AND PRIVACY POLICY. PLEASE CONSULT THE AIRBNB TERMS OF SERVICE AND PRIVACY POLICY BEFORE AGREEING TO THESE ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. Description of the Program The Airbnb Host Referral Program (“Program”) allows members to earn money (check Payment section below) by referring new hosts who publish a listing for the first time on the Airbnb Platform (“Referred Hosts”) and successfully complete a Qualifying Booking as defined in Section 6. Referring Members can only receive a Referral Reward payment for the first 25 Referred Home Hosts, the first 25 Referred Experience Hosts, and the first 25 Referred Service Hosts (i.e., the first 25 hosts they referred under this Referral Program) who complete their first Qualifying Booking in line with these Terms. Airbnb may offer other programs, products, or features that allow certain Referring Members to receive additional reward payments, as detailed in those other program pages, products, communications, or features. All Referred Hosts must be new, first time hosts. No payment will be made for listings created by current or former Airbnb hosts, or for bookings made by family or friends of the Referred Host, or for bookings where either the Referred Host or the Referred Host's listing has the same address as you. Your participation in the Program is subject to these Terms. Any payments under this Program may not be combined with other Airbnb referral programs or incentives for the same Referred Host, unless otherwise specified. By participating in the Program, you forfeit your ability to earn rewards or incentives via other Airbnb referral programs for Referred Hosts. 2. Use of the Dashboard You may not use the Host Referral Dashboard (“Dashboard”) for any purpose other than tracking the progress of your Referred Hosts. You will respect the privacy of others and comply with applicable laws. 3. Referring Member Terms 3.1 Your Referrals You may only use this Program in good faith and in compliance with applicable laws. You may not represent yourself as an employee, intermediary, agent, partner, or representative, or as being authorized to bind Airbnb. You may not create materials (including business cards, websites or email addresses) bearing Airbnb branding or that imply any affiliation or agency relationship between you and Airbnb. However, you must clearly state that you are a Referring Member who is encouraging hosts to list on Airbnb. You will not receive payment for referring yourself. 3.2 Sharing Referral Links Referrals should only be used for personal and non-commercial purposes, and only shared with personal connections that will appreciate receiving these invitations. You may only use referral methods and techniques that people will appreciate and that are legal. You may only contact people who have given you their consent to be contacted. You should not publish or distribute referral links to the general public on commercial websites or on social media platforms, unless otherwise specified by Airbnb. Members are prohibited from “spamming” anyone with referral invitations. This includes mass emailing, texting or messaging people you do not know or using automated systems or bots through any channel to distribute your referral link. Members are prohibited from paying to advertise their referral links. You should not solicit potential hosts who live in buildings where short-term rentals are prohibited by law, such as government-sponsored housing. You must always be mindful to respect the privacy of others, be honest, open, and transparent about who you are and what you are offering (i.e. do not mislead). In emails, social media, and other marketing materials, consider including a disclosure such as, “I may earn a reward when you use my referral link to start hosting.” You are responsible for complying with any disclosure requirements under applicable laws. Make sure to tell your friends and others who you invite to join Airbnb to check the laws that may apply to them and that you educate them about what it takes to be a responsible host. Payment Subject to your compliance with these Terms, Airbnb will pay you the amount specified in the Dashboard after the Referred Host completes their Qualifying Booking (the “Referral Reward”). The Referral Reward you receive will be in a range determined at the time the Referred Host creates their listing after following your referral link. Airbnb may change Reward offers and the corresponding Referral Reward amounts, after offers expire. We will remit the Referral Reward within 30 days of completion of each Qualifying Booking, to the default Payout Method you designate on your Airbnb account, in the currency of the Payout Method. All payments hereunder shall be subject to the Payments Terms of Service (the “Payments Terms”). The Airbnb Terms of Service as they relate to the application of taxes apply to any Referral Reward. Reward amounts are based on USD. Amounts paid in currencies other than USD will be calculated based on a currency conversion rate determined by a third party at the time of payout. The converted payout amount may not be identical to the amount displayed on airbnb.com/refer at the time you shared your referral link. The Airbnb Terms of Service as they relate to the application of taxes apply to any Referral Reward payment. 4.1 Credits Airbnb may offer you the option to receive the Referral Reward in cash (sent to your Payout Method) or credits (“Referral Reward Credits”). Validity, Stacking, and Usage Limits Referral Reward Credits obtained through this Host Referral Program are valid for 1 year from the date of issuance. They can be used for future Stay, Service, or Experience bookings made by the Recipient, and are subject to the Credit Terms and Conditions. Referral Reward Credits can be used in conjunction with Gift Cards, coupons and other discounts (listing discounts, host coupons, etc.). The default application order is coupons, other discounts, then credits. Referral Reward Credits may not be used to purchase Gift Cards. On the booking payment page, you can manually remove automatically applied discounts and choose a different discount. The maximum amount of Referral Reward Credits applied to a booking cannot exceed 15% of the total payment amount of the booking. Methods of Use, Return, and Inquiry Referral Reward Credits are for the personal use of the Referring Member or Referred Host (“Recipient”) only and cannot be reloaded, resold, transferred for value or redeemed for cash, or used in any form of transaction or use other than deducting the cost of the Recipient’s booking. When the Recipient cancels or changes a booking that uses Referral Reward Credits, the system will first return the Referral Reward Credits to the Recipient, then refund the rest of the payment to the payment method used for the booking. Depending on the cancellation policy applicable to the booking, the Referral Reward Credits used may not be refundable or only partially refundable. You can view the usage details of Referral Reward Credits on Airbnb by going to "Profile > Payments & Payouts > Credits & Coupons" to understand the amount and expiration records of Referral Reward Credits. Other Notes on Using Referral Reward Credits If you believe there is an error in the balance of Referral Reward Credits for any reason, please contact us. Airbnb may require you to submit relevant proof to confirm the balance of Referral Reward Credits. 5.
