Together with the well-known Swiss architect Karl Koller, he turned his vision into reality, and the Grand Hotel Suvretta House opened on 16th December 1912 surrounded by glittering fresh snow as a true dream castle. For more than 100 years, the descendants have been inspired by this pioneering spirit, so that today, as then, the Suvretta House is carefully guided into the future by the Candrian-Bon family. Seven generations of hoteliers have managed the Suvretta House since then & together with our staff they do their utmost to create a “home away from home” for each of our guests.
