No. A final decision has not been made for the CFC overall. When a formal decision is made regarding future campaigns, it will be communicated. How can I obtain a copy of my Tax Receipt? Tax receipts for 2025 and earlier years are available in your donor profile. After the donor portal is decommissioned, tax receipts may be requested by contacting [emailprotected]. Why is the portal being decommissioned? Systems that are not essential for the collection and distribution of donations are being retired to reduce administrative costs and maximize the funds received by charities. Will the CFC pledge platform be decommissioned? If so, how will donors access their pledge information? Yes. Once the platform is decommissioned, donors will no longer have self-service access to pledge information. Pledges will continue to be processed as elected. The CFC will continue to collect and disburse campaign pledges to charities in accordance with established procedures. Payroll deductions typically conclude in January for the prior campaign and begin in February for the new campaign. The January deduction is likely the final installment of your previous pledge. New deduction amounts should begin with the first February payroll cycle. Will my charity receive the remainder of 2024/2025 donations with the CFC portal being decommissioned? And will it follow the same distribution schedule? Yes. The 2024 and 2025 CFCs will continue to accrue pledges and process disbursements according to the established campaign schedule. Will federations have access to their member charity's pledge information both current and historical? OPM will serve as the custodian of historical campaign data. Federations will continue to receive monthly member distribution reports to facilitate fund allocation. It is recommended to download all necessary historical information immediately. Where will records (application, pledge, and distribution) be stored following the portal decommissioning? OPM will serve as the custodian of historical data. Federations will receive monthly member allocation breakdowns; however, other automated reporting will be unavailable after the decommissioning date. My organization is being dissolved in calendar year 2026, can I delegate another charity to receive our donations? No. If an organization dissolves, donors who pledged to that organization will be notified and permitted to redesignate their donation to another eligible organization of their choice. When is the first disbursement for the new 2025 CFC? The first disbursement cycle will be processed April 1st.
