AI and Organizations Lab The AI and Organizations Lab envisions a future where organizations are intentionally designed to harness AI in ways that elevate collective human potential. By bridging scholarly research with the lived realities of the workplace, we aim to guide the transformation of jobs, teams, and organizational structures toward a more productive and human-centered future. Center for Research on Foundation Models (CRFM) CRFM is an interdisciplinary initiative that makes fundamental advances in the study, development, and deployment of foundation models. Stanford Digital Economy Lab (DEL) DEL pursues a deeper understanding of the digital economy and its impact on the future of work and society. Stanford Artificial Intelligence Lab (SAIL) SAIL has been a center of excellence for Artificial Intelligence research, teaching, theory, and practice since its founding in 1963. Ambient Technology/Intelligence Our mission is to improve care and well-being while reducing costs and respecting human dignity by creating AI-enabled physical spaces that anticipate and respond to human needs through networks of embedded devices, sensors, and user interfaces in a privacy-preserving way. Ambient Intelligence will help address society being underserved by insufficient healthcare resources due to an increasingly aging population, the mental health crisis, and the lack of labor in the healthcare field.
