We are supported by our partner universities, SSHRC/CIHR, and Statistics Canada to facilitate access to data for crucial social research while protecting the confidentiality and security of Canadians information. Find out all about us here. RDCs located throughout the country mean researchers are not obliged to travel to Ottawa to access Statistics Canada data. Access to the UBC-RDC is free for UBC students working on theses or other degree requirements, and for UBC employees performing academic research. To access our data and start your research project, start here. Complete the UBC-RDC researcher form. This allows us to check that you are eligible to access UBC-RDC data. Interested researchers are invited to contact [email protected] to schedule a virtual video conference call to learn more about the RDC program.
