Under the theme “Enhancing Experiential Learning in and out of the Classroom,” this festival aims to provide a platform for educators to share and exchange teaching practices and pedagogies designed to enhance student learning through hands-on experiential learning. The festival will feature a seminar, workshops, a panel discussion, and an exhibition led by HKU teachers who have been implementing hands-on experiential learning in and out of their classrooms to engage students in learning. The festival will also feature a symposium and poster showcases with guest speakers from other higher education institutions in Hong Kong. Last but not least, the poster showcases will run alongside an Experiential Learning Fair. This fair will have booths hosted by HKU staff and/or students, as well as a booth hosted by The Hong Kong Award for Young People, offering experiential learning opportunities for immediate or future participation, as well as potential collaborations.
