BES-Net is jointly implemented by UNDP, UNEP-WCMC (hosting the National Ecosystem Assessment Initiative) and UNESCO (providing technical support on Indigenous and local knowledge since 2020), and it is funded by the Government of Germany (through the International Climate Initiative) and SwedBio. How We Work We tap into our network of partners to find solutions and inspire collective action. Read More Explore More 181 Countries 1321 Network Partners 121 Ecosystem Assessments Network Pooling the strengths of three consortium partner agencies and a network of over 130 organizations from around the world, BES-Net offers a platform for sharing solutions, meeting experts and building evidence for more resilient ecosystems. Our Consortium BES-Net is managed by a consortium of three partners: UNDP, UNEP-WCMC and UNESCO. The UNDP Nature Hub serves as the main host of the network.
