BES-Net is jointly implemented by UNDP, UNEP-WCMC (hosting the National Ecosystem Assessment Initiative) and UNESCO (providing technical support on Indigenous and local knowledge since 2020), and it is funded by the Government of Germany (through the International Climate Initiative) and SwedBio. Our Consortium BES-Net is managed by a consortium of three partners: UNDP, UNEP-WCMC and UNESCO. The UNDP Nature Hub serves as the main host of the network.
