In addition to the almost 1,000 camellia species that grow in the park, the exhibition presents a further 200 species, all of which can be admired. Camelie Locarno is also accompanied by various programmes of supporting events and activities: Camelie Locarno Exhibition The popular spring event Camelie Locarno will take place from 17 to 21 March 2027. A unique exhibition where you have the opportunity to see and get to know these magnificent colourful plants up close. Locarno Camellia exhibition Botanical treasures on the lake Discover everything to do with botany for a day with the combined ticket. The ticket includes admission to the camellia exhibition, the boat trip to the Brissago Islands and admission to the Botanical Garden of the Islands. The ticket is available at the Camelie di Locarno ticket office and at the boat service ticket office. Event’n’Rail Camelie Locarno Camellia concerts From mid-March to mid-April, the Camellia Concerts offer four wonderful evenings of Early music. A tribute to the noble blossoms of the camellia, which glow in their magnificent colours. Tickets Concerti delle Camelie Camellia & the Lake by E-Bike Explore the Camellia Park and its surroundings by e-bike. Set off from the BikePort cycle hire by Locarno railway station and enjoy a discovery tour through the park in full, vibrant bloom. Beyond the gardens, you can also venture to picturesque Ascona and to Piazza Grande – the lively heart of Locarno. BikePort is open during Camelie Locarno (18–22 March) and from 1 April onwards.
