Vaden Health Services Unit Closures; Friday, August 28 through Monday August 31, 2026 Closed: Vaden’s Medical Services, Counseling and Psychological Services, Confidential Support Team, and Weiland Health Initiative units will be closed beginning at noon on Friday, August 28, 2026 through Monday, August 31, 2026. See here for options for care during this period. Open: The Vaden Health Center business offices (including Insurance), Pharmacy (Walgreens), and MORE Physical Therapy, will be open on these dates. Re-opening: Medical and Mental Health Services clinics will re-open as Stanford Health Care clinics at 8:30 am on Tuesday, September 1, 2026. Vaden Health Services News Access our news archive Looming Deadlines for Health Requirement Compliance and Health Insurance Decision(s) August 7, 2026 Vaden Health Services Insurance & Referral Office Vaden Clinical Services to Transition to Stanford Health Care as of September 1, 2026 May 19, 2026 As of September 1, 2026, Stanford University will transition the Vaden Medical Services and Mental Health Services clinics to operate as Stanford Health Care entities. The alignment with Stanford Health Care (SHC) will enhance patient care access and streamline care, broadening pathways for students to receive timely, high-quality, and coordinated care across Stanford Medicine. Look for more information about the transition in mid-August. Vaden Health Services Mail Order Medications October 6, 2025 If you are a student with a health insurance plan that offers mail order and delivery for medications, we HIGHLY encourage you to transfer your prescription(s) to a local pharmacy.
